Q. Do I have to create an account to use the Parnell Family Website?
A. No, but certain pages will be inaccessible until you sign in with your personal Member account.

Q. Does it cost anything to use the Parnell Family Website?
A. No. There is no fee to use the Website, nor to sign up for a personal Member account. It is completely free, subsidized by the Family Reunion budget.

Q. What are the benefits of signing up for membership with the Parnell Family Website?
A. Members enjoy full, unrestricted access to all webpages, including the Family Tree, Photo Albums and Message Board.

Q. How do I set up an account and become a Member of the Parnell Family Website?
A. Click on the "Login" button at the top right corner of each page of the website and then click on "Sign Up", which will appear. You will be asked for your basic contact info, email address and username/password. (Personal information is optional, but we will not share it, and only Members will be able to see the information you choose provide.) Upon submission, the website administrators will review and approve your signup. Use this info to sign in whenever you visit the website.

Q. Is my personal information secure?
A. Yes. Privacy was our top priority in reestablishing the website
— particularly that of our minors. The vision was to create a centralized, private site for Parnells to access family information, including Family Reunion registration. For that reason we only use general personal information (name, familial connections) on pages such as the Family Tree, and user account registration does not require private information. All pages that contain any potentially sensitive identifying information (names, contact info, photos) are inaccessible without signing in with a Member account. Member account signup must be approved by the website administrators.
 

Payments


Q. Is my credit card information secure when I make a purchase?
A. Yes. Any payment you make on the website (such as Family Reunion Registration, Family Reunion Journal Ads or Donations) is handled by a secure payment system, much like any retail online store. 

Q. Do I have to have a Member account to make a purchase on the website?
A. No. You may purchase Family Reunion Registration, Family Reunion Journal Ads or contribute a Donation without signing up with the Parnell Family website. To proceed with any online transaction, you will simply need to enter your billing and credit card information. An email receipt will be sent to confirm.

Q. Where can I find information about the upcoming Reunion?
A. Please visit the "
Reunion Details", "Reunion Registration" and "For Travelers" pages. For 2024, there will be no physical mailings of Reunion Packets (except in limited cases); all necessary information will be located online instead. For any further questions, feel free to Contact Us.

Q. Do I have to register and pay a fee to attend 2020 Family Reunion?
A. Yes. Registration, which includes and requires simultaneous payment, is necessary to fund the various group events and memorabilia, as well as our collective annual Family Reunion Website subscription. It provides each registrant with access to the Family Banquet, Family Cookout, Sunday Brunch, one t-shirt and one towel for adults only. Unfortunately we cannot provide access to these items to those who have not registered and paid.

(Registration requires full payment upon submission, so we suggest waiting to register until you are prepared to pay for the full cost.)

Q. Does Registration include hotel and parking fees?
A. No. You must pay for your hotel separately. 


Note you are free to choose any hotel you wish, but be warned other hotels will likely charge higher rates and may not be as accessible. The Reunion Committee has selected the Atlanta Hilton s after painstaking research  (including visits to the actual location) to ensure it will be the most ideal location for our event. (Most family events and Registration will center around the Atlanta Hilton.  

Q. Do I have to pay for my 2024 Family Reunion Registration all at once? Can I pay in installments?
A. 2024 Family Reunion Registration must be paid in full by
May 31, 2024. Unfortunately, we cannot accept installments, and online registration only allows one complete payment (though you may register as many people as you need all at once). Note Reunion Registration is separate from Reunion Journal Ads purchases, thus you may purchase both in separate transactions long as you complete both by May 31, 2014.

Q. Can I just pay for the events I'm attending (if I won't be participating in the entire four-day Reunion)?
A. No.

Q. Do I have to pay my Reunion Registration (and Journal Ads) online?
A. We strongly encourage attendees to register and pay using the online system, as it makes the planning process far simpler and easier. For those who wish to pay by check or money order, however, they may mail their Registration and/or Ad(s) with full payment included to the order of 2020 Parnell Family Reunion Finance Manager Ray Malone, 27 Leland Point Drive, Portsmouth, RI  02871 (by the same deadline,
May 31, 2024).

Q. What are my online payment options? Can I pay using PayPal?
A. Currently our online system only accepts credit card, sorry. Contact Parnell Family Reunion Finance Manager Ray Malone
at mookie9x99@yahoo.com to see if PayPal or other electronic payment methods may be accepted.

Q. What's the last day I can register and pay for the Reunion?
A. May 31, 2024.

Q. What's the dress code for the Family Banquet?
A. Dressy or Elevated casual (e.g. collared shirt with pants/shorts, sun dress).
