My memories of Momma are all peppered with her nursing uniform. She wore white dressses and a crisp, white nursing cap. Her shoes were from the brand name of "Clinics". Clinics were to nursing what Jordans are to Nike. Every nurse wore them. We polished and buffed them, because they had to be white, not off white and definitely no scuff marks. She inspired me to choose a career in nursing. She was a great role model!
